Magical Memories is an online wedding favors and wedding gifts shop (E-commerce Website) based in Limerick.
Michelle from Magical Memories contacted us here at The Web Guy with a current website that she was unhappy with.

We arranged to transfer the hosting to our servers (giving us better control and thus better ability to create a successful new website) and talked through her needs and wants.
At the time she wanted to simply e-commerce her online store - (which previously was just a table of images whereupon you emailed her to purchase by postal order or cheque. ) and keep the color scheme that she already had. This was a basic e-commerce package without web marketing included (although we always include the basic marketing requirements for the web).
The result was an easily navigated and better working website with e-commerce integrated into it so customers could shop online and pay online securely and easily whilst Michelle could add and update her shop herself whenever she wished.
However, Michelle soon contacted us again with a request for our advice on Marketing her Site. As she was short on time she wished to employ The Web Guy.ie to market her site in such a way that it would be found by clients looking for wedding favors online and increase visits to her online wedding favors store - thereby increasing her sales.
We analysed her website and statistics and decided that a new look and some search engine optimisation was needed.
Red (the original colour of the very first site) is lovely in print, however, it is a little 'garish' and 'agressive' looking on the internet (due to computer screens and resolution plus monitor size etc..). Therefore we redesigned the overall look of the site to an 'easier on the eye' color scheme of very pale lilac and a subtle blueish-gray color. We kept the red in the form of text headings.
We also worked on the backend coding of the website making it search engine friendly with advanced seo techniques aimed at pushing her to the higher levels of search engine results. Michelle herself, also did - very importantly- a lot of marketing work in the 'real' world by attending local wedding fairs and advertising the site in the local press.
The result of our combined efforts?
search google for wedding favors and you will find www.magicalmemories.ie listed on the first page.
Michelle, however, is not resting on her laurels and is constantly adding to her site thereby keeping it fresh and new for those googlebots to roam! We wish her continued success.
